How are you all? I hope everyone is having a good day. I am also doing well. Being well is not only necessary for ourselves, but also a happy thing for the people around us. Because when we are well, our body and mind become well. And then our life becomes happy. I am @maksudakawsar, I am connected to you from Bangladesh. I am a small blogger. Because there are many creative people around me who are always sharing good posts with their skills and qualifications. Besides, there are many creative people who are looking for such a platform to showcase their qualifications. But I am such a small user who does not have that much creativity. Still, I am a verified user of such a beautiful platform. That is why, despite being very busy, I constantly try to come up with new and different posts for you. That is why today I am here with a new post again. There is food for everything. Travel is the food for the mind. A day's travel can make a month's worth of good health. The body and mind find peace. That's why I sometimes wander here and there. So that I can find a little happiness in my heart amidst thousands of hardships. So that sorrows don't overwhelm me so much. Peace is different in the midst of wandering with an open mind. You won't believe it, just come and see it from the shadow of nature.

Recently, I visited the Bangladesh National Museum, and that experience made me reflect on the connection between marine nature and us in a new light. The seabed soil and shells displayed behind glass seemed to come alive through my camera’s lens. This blog is a retelling of that journey — not just through photography, but through the discovery of a hidden world. In one corner of the gallery, there were three samples of seabed soil, each preserved in a glass case. Each had a tag detailing its region of origin, depth of extraction, and date of collection. Each layer told the story of a different era. Marine environments, decaying organisms, mineral deposits — all had slowly come together over thousands of years to form this soil. A few galleries ahead, my eyes fell on a mesmerizing collection — a variety of shells and snails. Some had colorful stripes, others shimmered, and some were etched with intricate holes and grooves. I paused. Another displayed a blend of soft pink and light blue — as if painted with watercolor. A particular snail shell spiraled elegantly, like a miniature universe. It was awe-inspiring to think how nature crafted these forms so perfectly. Photography here wasn’t easy. Glass reflections, low lighting, and the limitations of the display setup created technical challenges. But these obstacles made me more attentive. In one shot, light fell on a shell in such a way that it appeared to glow. Yet both emerged from the deep sea. One carries the layers of time, the other the beauty of life. Just as soil absorbs fragments of dead plankton, the shells of mollusks settle into that very ground. Over time, they merge — shaping each other. My photos were not just art, but documentary evidence. For instance, I focused on the spiral structure of a particular snail — later, at home, I found out it was a gastropod species, where each spiral turn marks a phase of growth. In another soil sample, tiny embedded shells hinted at a once-thriving marine life. This experience brought a wave of nostalgia. I remembered collecting shells as a child on the beaches of Cox’s Bazar, unaware of their scientific or historical significance. Now, after visiting the museum, I realize they aren’t just souvenirs — they’re remnants of once-living beings.
