Hello everyone 👋, TGIF 🍻🍹 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊.Eid Mubarak if you are celebrating 🎉🎊.The weekend is upon us yet again. I have had a great day and am raring to go with my stepping activities as well as share some of the trending stories I came across. As always thank you for stopping by and let's get things going 💨. So as always my day began with a little bit of stretching then a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. That fresh morning breeze🍃 was so wonderful. A nice short walk then I was back indoors where I rested then got on with the little daily chores around the house. In between I caught up with the latest news and watched some crypto and youtube. My next walking came later in the afternoon getting some fruits and veggies then around the park. Then I was back indoors for the usual nap. I woke up feeling refreshed some time early evening. watched the news then it was time for the sunset walk. As always slow paced around the neighbourhood and park. So that was the stepping and now let's quickly look at what trended in the media. Locally, nothing much happening except the usual political shenanigans 😹, otherwise a quiet day. Sudan trending as the army agreed to a 3 day ceasefire during Eid. However, gun fire continued to ring out. So far 413 killed and many injured in seven days of fighting 😭. The UN says around 20k people have arrived in neighbouring Chad. They are expressing concern that neighbouring countries may not have the capacity to take in an influx of refugees 🙀. Meanwhile US secretary of state, Blinken had spoken to both Military leaders and let's hope diplomacy will be used to end the fighting 💯. Also trending, Peru's ex president who has been living in the US, has surrendered to authorities to be extradited back home to face corruption charges 🙀. Across the pond in the UK, environmental campaign group calling itself extinction rebellion has begun four days of action in London, promising less destruction and more inclusion than the mass blockades that became it's trademark. They are demanding the govt do more to tackle the climate crisis💯. So that was Friday and I wanna thank you for reading this far 👏. I truly appreciate your continued support 🙏 and love 💕.
