You definitely know the drill, it's about time to wrap the day. Let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including the trending stories.Here we go again 💨.. So as always my day began with a little bit of stretching then a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. That fresh morning breeze🍃 was so wonderful. Then I was back indoors where I rested then got on with the little daily chores around the house. In between I caught up with the latest news and watched some crypto youtube. My next walking came later in the afternoon to the city centre for some errands . Then I was back indoors for the usual nap. I woke up feeling refreshed some time early evening. watched the news then it was time for the sunset walk. As always slow paced around the neighbourhood and park. So that was the stepping and now let's quickly look at what trended in the media. Locally, nothing much happening except the usual political shenanigans 😹, German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz is on a state visit to Kenya, talking renewable energy among other development projects. Meanwhile, Sudan trending with civilians trapped in Khartoum where heavy gunfire continues. The sudanese army has sent a delegation to Jeddah for talks as part of US-Saudi initiative. Let's hope that yields some fruit💯. Let's go to Ukraine, where an angry Wagner group chief has said he will withdraw fighters from Bakhmut by May 10 if Russia doesn't send ammunition😹. In Geneva Switzerland, the WHO has said covid is no longer a global health emergency. Hopefully countries will now ease the compulsory vaccine certificate needed for travel. Across the pond in the US, political shenanigans as Governor DeSantis signed a bill allowing Florida board to cancel Disney deals🙀. Finally, in crazy weather, heavy flooding reported in parts of Rwanda and DRC. So am back tomorrow, featuring the furry boy🐈 AKA Bob on an amazing Caturday 🐆.
