We don't like socialism, but we are not too keen on democracy either. We resent the feudalism and fear communism. Well, some of us complain when it's raining, others when it is too hot. Some go both ways and complain solely for the sake of complaining. We often don't realize that it is the worst thing to do.**

Out minds always work toward desiring something even in times when everything seems to be running smoothly. We could explore the roots of that erratic senseless behaviour based on anything but logic, however, it would not lead us too far. Let's turn to an example instead. Let's imagine, for a brief moment, that there is no more government, no state, no borders. Therefore there is no law, apart from the one in our hearts and minds. Well, some hearts and minds. There are also the cold ones, the broken ones who find pleasure in breaking the rules for their benefit. Bands of marauders, private armies, fights for food and resources, warlords rising up to dominate others, slavery, endless runs, knowledge lost, morals erased, murders and death all around etc. ![the-statue-of-liberty-2602636_640.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeDJdA7deZcZfTogpwiVETHxKc62AzUwBcWWgaf7yvyDj/the-statue-of-liberty-2602636_640.jpg) We would deteriorate, not advance after such development of events. But yes, I agree, it would probably be fun for the first couple of days. Everything is. Then the cold shower comes. I hear you saying, this is exactly why we have states, borders and governments. Yes, it is. We established those institutions in order to protect ourselves from ourselves. Isn't that quite crazy when you think about it? Crazy as much as real.
