INTRODUCTION

The blockchain since its creation has already revolutionized in World's financial landscape through decentralization. Gone are the days when people need centralized organizations like the banks and even the government before they can execute their financial transactions between each other or across different geographical locations. Now with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the barriers of the previous financial systems are being broken down.

Importantly it should be noted that transferring money or exchanging of monetary value between two or more entities is only but one of the core components of our more robust financial landscape that we have in the world today.

The world's financial systems include services like money lending, savings, insurance, stock market investing, global derivatives, and asset management.

Under the present centralized financial structures, it is difficult for the average individual to invest in high-yield financial assets or participate in the other financial systems under favorable terms.

This has brought about the creation of a decentralized financial ecosystem also known as Defi on the blockchain, which is aimed at making financial services equally available to everyone.

Defi gives equal access to every person in the world irrespective of their location or social status, in a fair system immune to interference from centralized power players like the big banks and government.

In this piece, I will be writing about COOK PROTOCOL. This is a decentralized project that is aimed at transforming the world's Asset Management ecosystem and giving ordinary investors the privilege of enjoying the benefits of enjoying professional asset management without paying overly expensive fees to large funds.

On the cook protocol platform investment strategies are managed by SMART CONTRACTS which are configured before-hand by a professional from managers. With the use of smart contracts cook protocol can eliminate some of the existing problems in the present centralized and decentralized asset management landscape.

Professional asset management is limited to the wealthy and high net worth individuals due to the ridiculously expensive fees that the funds' charge
The human Factor which can lead to deviation from an efficient investment strategy
Lack of transparency regarding Types of investment, Risks, Profits, and Losses
Technically sophisticated (a major problem with present Defi asset management platforms)

Cook protocol eliminates all these problems and invests wealth as simple as ABC for the individual retail investors. With cook protocol, all investors need to do is determine the investment strategy that suits them and then select the smart contract that represents this strategy.

The Cook protocol platform gives investors a lot of leeway and flexibility in the management of their funds with its unique smart contract being integrated with decentralized exchanges, decentralized derivatives, and decentralized lending platforms.

The Defi Market is still in its infancy stages and the Decentralized Asset Management space is also in this category, but with analysis of the exponential growth of the cryptocurrency market in general and also the size of the present centralized asset management markets, there is a very huge potential for growth for DEFI Asset Management projects that provides financial services to the masses.
