Part of the reason that I am making this post is because I am taking part in a contest myself. (But I will tell you more about that later! :)) There are loads and loads of different contests going on all the time here which cover all manner of interests such as art, music, photography and writing as well as a multitude of others that take place every day. Some are regular contests like those organised by the force of nature that is @papa-pepper and some are spontaneous like this one I am having today but all of them are a fun way of engaging with other steemians .
