Development of Guardians

Once, a long time ago, I guarded lives. Yet again on guard, With the watchers now, Who would save them since I would sink, No longer could hook them in a blink. And the little ones became less the fans, For now I was the iron in man. Again with watchers as we hope, But it is so far from sanity, Our efforts won over by vanity. The days so brutal, They were more than futile, And this is how the vibrant guard once promoted life, Pushed beyond the hard and strife. Now, with the body behind, A transcendent mind, At this time blind. A reality was altered, Not neglected, Nor rejected. So yes the pool is dead, And yes the elders still watch, Now older, The young fans have since folded. An empty pool still echos, Even as I return from the ocean, I remember the prefect waves of glass, The calm seas amidst the grass. So here on my porcelain chair, I sit overlooking my deadpool. Simply marvelous I think, To be on the WWW brink. I see BTC, EOS, I smell Ether and Monero. There are even Ripples moving minnows. But what’s that, Old IBM and other corps moving in. Here on Steemit I would glow, If I were not hovering above a still pool that is my soul. Long since my chart has ascended to mind, A hope still flows, Since I am fond of what I know.
