By delaying herd immunity beyond that period required for each individual’s antibody titers to fall into the vulnerable range — which is likely less than the 1 or 2 flu seasons required for non-enhanced re-infection — in theory autoimmunity can be triggered by reinfection wherein the remaining antibodies help the virus replicate in immune cells in addition to its normal route via the ACE2 receptor to lung and throat cells. The ADE could cause bizarre symptoms because the rogue immune cells wouldn’t be limited to the ARDS in the lungs. I could imagine CNS disorders and even perhaps Ebola-like symptoms. Perhaps this is why Armstrong’s model has the pandemic peaking in 2022. That peak could be horrific.
