Facebook has 2.23 billion active monthly users, YouTube has 1.9 billion and Instagram has 1 billion. Other popular platforms include Qzone, Weibo, Twitter, Reddit and Pinterest. (source: https://www.dreamgrow.com/top-15-most-popular-social-networking-sites/) These are astonishing statistics and with the growing rate of technological advancements in developing countries and the increased ownership in smart phones, tablets and laptops, means that these numbers will continue to grow. People use social media every day for different reasons. Some use it to keep up to date with their friends and families, others use it for business, it has a lot of purposes. The very fact you are reading this article is because you have seen this article shared on social media. Social media is an important part of our lives. However, there are a lot of problems with the current state of existing platforms. We now see so many more advertisements than we did before especially in recent months on platforms like Instagram where almost every other post on my feed is a sponsored advert for a wannabe Instagram model or a new restaurant. There will be two types of contribution that TTC will recognise and reward tokens. The first type of contribution will be rewards for users that post and engage with content on the TTC ecosystem on a daily basis. TTC Recent News Theres been a lot going on recently with TTC. The biggest news for me is the recent Bibox exchange listing. $TTC listed on 15th August and its the biggest listing so far. Their trading volume is now above the minimum amount and their token is displayed on CoinMarketCap and Etherscan which is great news. On the 17th August TTC recorded their highest daily trading volume so far, combined on all of the exchanges there was $6.2m worth of trades. TTC acquired TataUFO at the start of this year and it was TTC’s first DApp. TataUFO is a social network that was founded in 2013. Their platform is a social dating service for Chinese university students, it matches you with one person a day. They have over 11 million registered users and they are still gradually growing every day.
