Summary

Rstory is a revolutionary new cryptocurrency created by Minnesota-based information services company Insight Green, LLC (hereafter referred to as "the company"). Designed as a multi-blockchain meta-currency whose basis is derived from the company's gratitude, Rstory is governed by social accountability and administered by the company. In calendar year 2019, Rstory operates on the STEEM, Bitshares, and Waves blockchains. The STEEM blockchain is used for text-based operations, such as announcements, record-keeping and reporting, identity verification, and document posting/signing. The Bitshares and Waves blockchains are used for token transactions.

Origin and Specification

Rstory originated with the entry of an immutable record estimating the total financial value of the global informal economy into STEEM blockchain transaction 591576bcdee0d9168efc9d02a120028d75e15ef2. That immutable record, known as Primary Asset 19, serves as a business logic component for formulaic parameterization of Rstory's issuance volume. In 2019, the maximum number of Rstory tokens issued will be fewer than 100M, which is 1/10 of 1% of 1% of the informal economy's estimated USD size as recorded in Primary Asset 19. In 2019, the company plans to issue 52M tokens, consisting of 26M each on the Waves and Bitshares blockchains. If warranted by market conditions, the company may also issue up to 47.9M additional tokens on these or other blockchains in 2019. Rstory tokens have no decimal point. Each Rstory token represents a discrete, indivisible unit of gratitude (DIUG) that is inseparable, either in whole or in part, from the company. Rstory tokens are nonetheless transferable. Holding custody of an Rstory token guarantees ownership of any social capital that may have accrued in the token, as well as designates the token's custodian solely responsible for the token's uses.

Issuance Procedure, State Conversion, Tude vs Rusty

The creation of "baskets" of Rstory gratitude tokens are announced on STEEM posts. Each basket is assigned a number, as is each gratitude unit in each basket. Said identifiably-numbered, financially valueless units are referred to as "tudes", and may be transferred by written agreement in a business procedure called a conferral of gratitude (COG). These created tokens may correspond to Rstory token issuances on one or more blockchains. The act of entering a tude into a price discovery process transforms its state, from "tude" into "rusty". A tude has zero financial value and a clear chain of custody from its point of issuance until present. Tudes are not interchangeable, and are therefore non-fungible. If a tude is offered for sale, trade, collateral, or otherwise entered into a process which assumes said tude has non-zero financial value, said tude is, by such an act, transformed into a rusty. If a rusty is transferred into a wallet containing tudes, said tudes all acquire a non-zero probability of being rustys, and must therefore be considered to have been transformed into rustys. While a rusty may theoretically be transformed into a tude by an auditing procedure which proves its history, no such procedure has yet been developed. Because tudes are conferred at the company's discretion for work in service to the public good or company aims, and may not be bought, sold, or traded, possession of tudes is a reliable indicator of good standing with the company and the broader Rstory gratitude network. Tudes therefore have reputation utility, and tude custodians may be eligible for special privileges in proportion to their holdings. Rustys are fungible, and are traded on the open market, such as on the Bitshares and Waves decentralized exchanges. On Bitshares, Rstory is listed as "RUSTY". On Waves, Rstory is listed as RStory with asset id "Fhpgn2Pn2myE5YahvYy7XAeR3pDQTZXmDGmm5c3nKtRp". Purchase of Rstory tokens on these markets directly supports the company and those it designates as servants of the public good. Under no circumstances should any person consider the purchase of these tokens a financial investment.
