When Mamun Rashid, the great Abbasid Caliph, laid the substratum of Bait-ul-Hikmah (House of Sapience) and got the Greek books translated into Arabic, Muslims commenced to discuss the philosophical themes in such a way which was more open and conducive to learn.
They discussed, analyzed and commented upon the astute tradition of religion and philosophy and made the Islamic legacy much more opulent and splendid.
