An evocative bouquet of Winter's fade that feeds. Air clears itself exponential & melts time with the intensity Of a boddhisattva. Fire is in the belly of the mother And she will produce, in her likeness, The scintillating cornucopia of flesh. The motion electric of generations Can be seen in the eddies about The waterfall's edge. Worlds spring up and burn themselves In those tendrils of aquatic light: The freezing magma that seethes about, Universal solvent and aeriferous maiden. Elements teach their immortality To they who love stillness. Who love silence will hear The music of spheres. Notes

I love going into nature, it's one of my favorite things. Since I haven't gone out as much because of winter's chill, I'm making up for it now and going to a waterfall near me almost every day. I wrote this piece after coming back from there yesterday and recorded the recitation along with a recording of the water that I took using my iPhone. The photos were also taken using my iPhone. In some ways this poem is meant to contrast the piece I wrote yesterday morning titled ["Passage of Dim Light."](https://steemit.com/absurd/@d-pend/passage-of-dim-light) In the recording I played around with some tape delay automation and panning work. There's a short white noise/ambience section after the poem is over creating by manipulating the waterfall recording. It hit me yesterday while hiking that winter does end after all!
