How to Put On Eyeshadow Like a Professional

**Step 1 • Pick the Right Eyeshadow for Your Eyes.** If you have oily lids, use powder eyeshadows. These will help soak up oil and will resist smearing on the lids. If your skin is dry, look for a cream formula that goes on smooth and resists creasing. **Step 2 • Start with a Base Color.** If you’re using a palette, pick the lightest color in the kit.
