***A. Write about the importance and use of earthing in your country.***

| ---| **Earthing** which is also known as grounding is very important in my country as it provide safety as well as efficiency in electrical systems. Earthing is the process of connecting electrical systems to the ground by providing a direct path for unwanted current to flow to ground. Here are some importance of earthing; **1. Safety:** Grounding or earthing provide safety against electric hazards. **2. Protection of equipments:** Earthing is a safe way of protecting electric equipments like machines or motora from any kind of damage. **3. Regulatory requirments:** It is strictly ordered for earthing in both commercial and residential area of my country. Earthing provide electrical safety standards and prevent any electrical accidents. **4. Reduction of electromagnetic interference (EMI):** Earthing reduce electromagnetic interference by providing a path of unwanted current to flow to ground.

***B. Write the differences between earthing and neutral.***

| ---| Here are some differences between earthing and neutral. Earthing|Neutral ---|--- This method of dipping the metal parts (rods) of electrical equipment deep into the ground is called Earthing |The path through which the current is sent back to the electrical circuit is called Neutral. This method is for Protecting people and equipments from risks of electric current.|Neutral maintains the electric balance in the circuit. Transmits unwanted excess electricity safely deep into the ground.|Send electricity back to keep current flowing in the circuit. Used for protection of equipments or people|Neutral is important for completing electrical circuits. Access current flow to ground only during faults.|Current always flow in the electrical circuit.

***C. When you touch the body of an electrical home appliance in your home or office, what kind of earthing do you use and why?***

| ---| I use rod earthing in my home as well as in my office as it is common method of earthing used in my country also it is cost less. The applying steps of this method of earthing are also easy as compared to others. ● The rod earthing provides a east pathway of current flow the earth. ● This method of earthing manage fire risk thus protect us from big loss. ● Maintain voltage ● Erotect electrical appliances from damage.

***D. Draw any one type of motor starter control circuit and describe the diagram.***

***E. Practical: Make a rod or pipe earthing for your hom***

| ---| As we have discussed above that earthing is a useful method for safety of people as well as for protecting the electrical equipments. So in buildings of both commercial and residential areas the earthing should be applied. So that we can protect any kind of damage. Here I will show you the earthing process briefly step by step. In first image you can see that I have a copper rod and a copper wire of green colour as in my country green colour wire is used for earthing.
