The technical approach of Elrond developers to creating a highly scalable blockchain is called adaptive sharding. Security

Elrond Network uses an improved Proof of Stake consensus algorithm, called Secured Proof of Stake, in which consensus is achieved by randomly selecting validators, determining the right to bid and rating with the best measurement for the consensus group. Decentralization
