Cloud9 is the first American team that won a CSGO major.In a very intense, must watch game they beat the European juggernauts FaZe Clan.Americans were happy and surprised in the same time, while the European FaZe Clan fans were sad.

Format - Maps

They played three maps for intense four hours ! The maps that were played on the ELEAGUE Major Boston were : - Mirage (FaZe vs Cloud9 16 - 14) - Overpass (FaZe vs Cloud9 10 -16) - Inferno (FaZe vs Cloud9 19-22)

Mirage

The map started with Cloud 9 dominating the European juggernauts FaZe Clan.The first half ended 6-9 for Cloud 9 . The second half is where the biggest change happened.Things started looking drastically different for both teams. Aside from a strong defense on the second round, FaZe won eight straight rounds. Cloud9 were then put in the awkward position of not only having lost the lead, but needing to force the map to an overtime scenario.Unfortunately for Cloud 9 the second half ended 10 - 5 for FaZe Clan which in total is 16-14 for them. Overpass

The North American team stomped the favorites FaZe Clan in the first half with 12-3 result, the second half started pretty good for C9 as well . Skadoodle successfully got his team to a match point and then FaZe Clan kept winning rounds one by one and came closer.The result was 15-10 . FaZe clearly had some amazing moments in the second half, but the North American team was strong enough and managed to pull a victory. Final result 10-16 .

Inferno

Final map ! The decider for the winner of the CSGO ELEAGUE MAJOR 2018. The map that is gonna make one team the winner of the 500 000 $ prize . The first half of the most intense match in the CSGO history ended up with FaZe leading (8-7). The second half was even more interesting since Cloud9 managed to pull out amazing rounds and got the lead over FaZe.The match went into overtime, not one, but TWO OVERTIMES.It was so freaking intense, the crowd was cheering for their favorites C9 and it seemed like that helped since Cloud9 managed to win the last map! MVP

As per usual every tournament in eSports has a most valuable player award that's being given to the player that did the most in the tournament.Cloud9 captain Tarik "tarik" Celik is the recipient of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of ELEAGUE Major Boston by HLTV.org & Betway.He had the highest number of kills (258) alongside teammate autimatic, and was in the top 5 in four other categories, including ADR (87.8) and KAST (76.1%),

Overall thoughts about the ELEAGUE CSGO Major

In my opinion the ELEAGUE CSGO Major 2018 was the best major in the history of CSGO.The ELEAGUE Twitch Livestream reached more than 1 000 000 viewers which made the atmosphere even more intense.The North American crowd was just insane.They kept screaming Cloud 9 , Cloud 9 , Cloud9 ! It was obvious that they would cheer for Cloud9 since its a North American team.This is history for them because they win it for the first time ! I am satisfied by the work that the production has invested.
