# Welcome to The Fresh Five!
Hi, I'm [Adam](https://steemit.com/@aussieninja) and I'll be introducing new and exciting Steemians to the community. [The Fresh Five](https://steemit.com/@thefreshfive) account was set up by [Mike](https://steemit.com/@mikepm74), who'll be working towards creating and administering Fresh Five competitions and contests to help kick start our brand new friends and get them involved in the community. So, now that you know what it's all about, let's get on with it!

He has included a video which is just amazing, but he's basically told us a bunch of great and interesting stories and seems like the kind of guy that has a lot more where they came from. His parents will be monitoring his account, so keep it clean kids, but his photos are absolutely spectacular and his cats are ridiculously cute. He's got a drone which I am super jealous of! Mary is fascinating, she's 21 years old and is trying to discover recipes that help with different types of mental and physical illness, which is something I've honestly never thought about. It's super interesting and her passion for this project comes through loud and clear. Welcome to Steem Mary!
