# Welcome to The Fresh Five!
Hi, I'm [Adam](https://steemit.com/@aussieninja) and I'll be introducing new and exciting Steemians to the community. [The Fresh Five](https://steemit.com/@thefreshfive) account was set up by [Mike](https://steemit.com/@mikepm74), who'll be working towards creating and administering Fresh Five competitions and contests to help kick start our brand new friends and get them involved in the community. So, now that you know what it's all about, let's get on with it!

He was born in Russia, lives in Germany, loves Gamescon, works in IT and has no idea what he's going to blog about... ah dude, literally everything right there is awesome and bloggable. He seems super fun and I can't wait to see what he hits us with. Welcome to Steem Jan!

He's into music, theater, writing, graphic design and photography. Really interested in everything he might share with us. He works hard, so feels he's a little late to the Steem party, which isn't true at all... everyone here is an early adopter. He already seems to have a ton of friends on the platform already, so I'm excited to see if his work will let him have any free time for posting. Welcome to Steem Al Mahdi!
