A few years back there is this thing called Bubblews. The site has that breakthrough potential that can rival Facebook. Sadly, after a few years of strong performance, everything went south – very quickly until the site was eventually shut. I’m not going to expand on the nitty gritty details of what happened to Bubblews but I’ll focus more on the good things that stemmed from the site.

It’s all about the money

It has always been about the money – anyone who says otherwise is either lying or is lying 😂😂

Back then, making $50 every two to three days is not impossible. A post here and there – VOILA, $50 beybe!!! With that amount of fast cash, it is bound to attract attention – from online or home-based workers to nasty spammers and freaking cheatheads!!! Needless to say, the latter brought down the site. Together with lack of control, trust issues, and mishandling…DOOM came to Bubblews. The bubbles burst! (see what I did there)

Then there are friends

Besides the money…online genuine connections sprouted

This is one of the things that I am truly thankful for. Bubblews brought together a bunch of people who wouldn’t otherwise met in real life. Although the site died down, we found each other in the Book of Faces and the connection remained intact. Although communication is not as much as before, one can sense that the genuine friendship is still there. The names above are the ones that are not yet on-board here in Steemit. They still need a little bit of coaxing but they’ll soon join the fold. On the other hand, there are ex-Bubblers who did found their way Steemit. In fact, one introduced me to the site.
