My Herbs are going to Seed! Now is usually the time of year that your herb plants and other useful kitchen herbs will start to go to seed. To keep your plants from doing so, harvest off the ends of all major branches of the plant. This will keep the plant producing into the autumn season. Below you can see photos of my thyme that I let go to seed this year.
