We're about to start the 3rd week of our anti-candida cleanse!

Something like 85% of the population is affected by candida overgrowth, with potentially serious consequences to health because of it. We were surprised to find that everyone in our ecovillage tested positive for it using an easy, at home test, so we decided to invest in our health and follow a 3 week anti-candida protocol.

Based on the results we've seen so far in only 2 weeks, we're really excited about the upgrades individuals can and do enjoy by simply changing the diet and taking 100% gum spirits of turpentine!

The protocol calls for a dose of 100% gum spirits of turpentine first thing in the morning for 4 days, followed by 3 days off, to be repeated for a total of 3 weeks. During this time, it is recommended to stick to a diet focused on fresh, whole, raw fruits, leafy greens, root veggies, and squash; there is no sugar, no meat, and no dairy.

As a community, we are following the diet for the 4 days on, and each person is choosing the degree to which they wish to follow the diet on the 3 off days. Everyone is recording their results and experiences to analyze and share.

Although we have had some uncomfortable detox side effects, we are already seeing levels of candida drop in our spit tests, and urine pH increase after just days of adhering to the candida cleanse!
