Dear friends, starting the day by saying Alhamdulillah as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT. What are you doing?, hopefully in good condition. On this very glorious occasion, I want to try a new experience by registering myself as a candidate for the Steem Atlas Ambassador. Which we already know that Mr. @pennsif has issued this news since 2 days ago with the title: [[STEEM ATLAS @ 6 Feb '25] Would you like to be an Atlas Ambassador?](https://steemit.com/steem-atlas/@pennsif/steem-atlas-6-feb-25-would-you-like-to-be-an-atlas-ambassador) Hopefully being part of the Steem Atlas ambassadors will support the development of the Steemit platform including: > - I will try to promote Steem Atlas among Steemians in my country Indonesia as much as I can. > - I will continue to help and guide people in my country Indonesia about posting on Steem Atlas. > - With the guidance provided, I will try to check the pin location of new and old posts on this steematlas. > - I will also search for old posts in the country of Indonesia with the aim of being able to search for inappropriate posts. A brief summary of my Steemit account history| -| My name is Mudawali, I come from Aceh Indonesia. My steemit account name is @walictd. I joined steemit in 2018. I was inactive for a while because I was busy with education, and became active again in 2021 until now. Now I am trusted as an Admin of the Steem SEA community, was a moderator in the Steem Kinds & Parents Community but no longer, have built my own community with my best friend, and most specifically I have also become a community curator to hold the Steemcurator09 account last November 2024. Details of the languages I can speak and write | - | In terms of language, I often use Acehnese local language and Indonesian national language for my daily interactions with friends and family. While English is still in the learning process, with the sophistication of technology I can still read and write well. So there is no doubt, Acehnese, Indonesian and English will be part of what I have to master, but on steemit I will try to maximize English to easily interact with usage around the world. For the added location feature it is perfect by displaying a complete map with roads and buildings. There are a few suggestions for additional features on this atlas system including: - Some villages or places and their names are still not appropriate as in google maps. So this needs to be updated so that all places are right in position. - Maybe some displays such as buildings of places of worship, bridge schools or so on will have special markers, so that users can easily find these places. - With the addition of a search menu for the name of the village, place or region, it might be very easy for someone to find the location they want to add a post to. The benefits of Steem Atlas for Steemit in my opinion| -| Of course, the presence of Steem Atlas is a good influence on steemit. Where previously people could only review places or businesses or their travels only using Google Maps or w3w or the like, which when we open Google Maps or the like we will not find these posts. But it is very different from Steem Atlas, where someone who has published on steemit about the place, the post will be included in the map so that people can clearly see what the situation there is like as if they can immediately feel the same. So I think the steem atlas is very useful even myself feels it. Maybe this is my brief writing about the application as a candidate for Steem Atlas Ambassador. Hopefully, if indeed entrusted as an Atlas team ambassador, I will try to work well in accordance with the direction and guidance of Steematlas.
