After F1 24, which felt somewhat disappointing in terms of gameplay and content, this new title has a first stint, setting good times thanks to the return of Bracking Point and a series of new features that, while not revolutionary, do accomplish their goal. # STORY MODE: BRACKING POINT 3 Let's start by analyzing Bracking Point 3. The unique story mode that has been with us intermittently returns with a third installment in this installment. Bracking Point 3 continues with a striking narrative formula that follows the adventures of the Cornersport team on and off the track. This installment follows the events we saw in F1 23 and F1 21 and puts us in control of driver Cimer and her teammate Iden Jackson, with the same familiar storyline but with an eye on other well-known characters such as De Bon Butler and Casper Hackerman. The characters, being familiar, continue to cultivate a certain charisma—something difficult to achieve in sports titles—although we would have liked to see more interactions with real drivers like Charles Leclair, Alonso, or Lando Norris, for example. Graphically, the scenes are breathtaking, especially those depicting certain moments from the races. And in terms of gameplay, this mode is perfect for both new drivers and veterans, as it presents almost every possible situation in the sport. Beyond the objectives of the races you compete in throughout the seasons covered in this story, what happens on the track is tied to an already established destiny, but the game manages to make you strive to compete and give your best for each award. Like many other sports titles, F1 25 uses the buzzword technique to announce a new package of technical improvements. This year's buzzword is Lida, a system that scans several iconic tracks to make them as realistic as possible. From the asphalt surface, to the height of the curbs, to the trees outside the tracks, several circuits benefit from this system, five specifically: Imola, Bahrain, Miami, Suzuka, and Melbourne. Another great new feature is the ability to travel around Silverstone, the Red Bull Ring, and Zanborg in reverse. In other words, the mirror mode that Mario Kart invented a few generations ago. Again, we don't understand why only a small handful of tracks benefit, but the result is convincing and adds more content to enjoy, as they are practically new circuits. This is already a good starting point after what happened in the past with F1 24, which was far from perfect in many of its adjustments and new features. This game pays special attention to everything related to tire degradation, its behavior on different terrains, and the different grips, to create a greater differentiation between urban layouts and regular circuits. We've also noticed one of the main implementations in aerodynamics. But the truth is that, after playing it, I felt much better than in past installments of the series.
