Trading properly any asset is a science that requires preparation, study and perseverance. This effort is made by people interested in trading to be able to predict with a medium or maximum percentage of success what the prices of the active markets will do. #### What Is Price Forecasting? It is the ability or quality of being able to tell where the market price of any good or asset will go at a given time. That ability is supported by reasons that allow reaching the conclusions reached. #### Discuss on why Price Forecasting is needed? The need to forecast asset prices is given by the fact that everyone who invests money in them wants to make a profit, and for this, they must buy at the right times and sell at the right times as well. But as an investor, when you are putting your money in the market for assets, commodities or crypto assets (or anything else) no one will give you a safe and 100% accurate and effective guide to the behavior of the price level it will have. That is why it is important to learn to forecast prices and market behavior itself. Since this will allow us to buy at the best points and at the right times, and also sell at the best points and appropriate times as well. #### What Methods are best you feel for Price Prediction/Forecasting. What I think about this regard is that each trader or investor has a own method of forecasting the behavior of market prices that they feel most comfortable with. I don't think there is a method with 100% verifiable efficacy. In any case, I particularly feel more comfortable using technical analysis, over fundamental, because it allows me to adequately anticipate market prices. This allows me to directly identify the possible best entry or exit points for Long and Short. ### DASH: Market Price Forecast for Next Week About the DASH cryptocurrency according to Coingecko, it has an approximate current value of $ 249.98. So I will tell you what I will do to forecast the possible price that DASH will have for the next week, done through my own technical analysis system. To make the forecast, I go to my TradingView account and open the chart for DASH vs USD. Once open, I will put the chart according to the timing that interests me to be able to properly forecast the potential price that the asset will have within a week. To do this, I place the graph in a timeframe of 1 DAY (DAYLY). Then, I usually put three exponential moving averages on the display. I configure these moving averages as follows: I define the first in green and set it to 50 periods. Based on what allows me to see the exponential moving averages configured in the way already explained, and relying on my own technical analysis system (which also includes the analysis of the candles); my prediction is that the price of DASH in a week will probably drop to around $ 208. If you are lucky and the strength of the price movement continues or increases, and if the candlestick patterns say otherwise then, the price may be between two points for next week ($ 208 to $ 215). The good thing I can see on the chart is that DASH is in an uptrend. In other words, the market is bullish, because both the 50-period moving average and the 20-period moving average are above the 200-period one. Until that changes, there is no reason to be scared because the price drops a bit during the next week. In any case, the fact that the price of DASH is going to fall to those levels next week, will make me watch out for seek the best entry for when it starts to rise again, which according to the prevailing uptrend, will be probably at any moment after next week. #### Conclusion As you could see, a good forecast of the prices of the cryptoactive market makes us more alert and better prepared to be able to react better to everything that may manifest itself on it. This procedure will give us the best possible points to buy and to sell. The risk that we make mistakes when operating is minimized and thus every day we earn more money and knowledge in the markets.
