La depresión se ha convertido en el mal de nuestro siglo, a pesar de todos los adelantos que existen para aminorar el dolor interno en las personas. Si consideramos algunos de los sinónimos de la palabra depresión que aparecen en el Diccionario de la Real Academia "Agujero, hoyo, hundimiento, bajón, debilidad, decaimiento y caída", veremos que todas nos llevan a pensar en cautividad e impotencia.
