I was staying in Shahbagh in Dhaka city due to my relative's illness. Many of you know that I live in Savar in Dhaka city. But at that moment I was staying in Shahbagh. Ramna Park is next to the main square of Shahbagh. Ramna Park is a historical and aesthetically beautiful park located in the heart of Dhaka city. It is next to the National Eidgah ground on one side, and adjacent to the Supreme Court and Bangla Academy on the other. This park surrounded by greenery is a haven for people who want to get rid of the hustle and bustle of the city. Therefore, many people come here from different places for some peace. I also came here from the hospital to get some peace for some time.

As soon as you enter Ramna Park, you see rows of old and shady trees, colorful flower gardens and wide walking paths. There is a large lake here, which further enhances the beauty of the park. In the morning, many people start their day by walking, running or exercising here. The chirping of birds, cool breeze and green environment soothe the mind. Once here, one does not want to leave. One wants to stay here all day long in the shade of the trees. Hundreds of people like me are present here all day long. Who does not like to stay in this charming environment.

Ramna Park is also important from a historical point of view. It was once famous during the Mughal period. Later, during the British rule, it was developed as an English garden. Now it is an aesthetic monument of modern Dhaka. Ramna Park is not only a place of rest, but it is also a symbol of culture and tradition. Every year, on the occasion of Bengali New Year, Chhayanaut organizes a traditional cultural program at the foot of Ramna, which becomes a gathering place for thousands of people. As far as I know, people from different classes come here to fulfill their necessary dreams and also to shoot videos on various topics. People shoot here at various levels, starting from movies, dramas, TikTok. All in all, I can say that Ramna Park is the heart of people's entertainment. People living in Dhaka city come here for a little peace, while some come to meet their financial needs. Many sell food for business here. And thus, people are constantly coming and going in Ramna Park.
