How are you all? I hope everyone is having a good day. I am also doing well. Being well is not only necessary for ourselves, but also a happy thing for the people around us. Because when we are well, our body and mind become well. And then our life becomes happy. There are moments in life that leave an everlasting imprint on our hearts—moments when nature’s beauty and our own emotions intertwine so deeply that we are forever changed. History is not confined to the pages of books; it lives on through memories, artifacts, and collections. One such place where the most glorious chapter of Bangladesh's history—the Liberation War—comes to life is the Liberation War Gallery at the Bangladesh National Museum. Some time ago, I had the opportunity to visit this historic site. That experience still stirs my thoughts, moves me emotionally, and fills me with immense pride.

As soon as I crossed the outer gate, a huge building stood in front of me—serene, solemn, full of history. As soon as I entered, my mind entered another world. Galleries, art, artifacts—everything seemed to be speaking to me. After first visiting the other galleries, when I set foot in the Liberation War Gallery, the surroundings suddenly fell silent. The blood of martyrs, the cries of mothers and sisters, the brutality of the Pakistani occupying forces—all these images seemed to have been captured on camera as a testimony of time. I learned anew about their time in power, leadership, and sacrifice. Seeing the pictures of their brutal murders in prison made me shiver. The gallery has a section in memory of the martyred intellectuals where their pictures and biographies are displayed. Dr. Alim Chowdhury, Munir Chowdhury, Jyotirmoy Guha Thakurta—their contributions and stories of brutal killings are heartbreaking. A video clip was playing showing scenes of the atrocities and torture of the Pakistani army. These artifacts seemed to have emerged from the depths of time. The picture of General Niazi's surrender, the Mujibnagar government's proclamation, and the faces of millions of Bengalis swept away by the joy of victory. Coming to this place, our heart is filled with pride—we are an independent nation, this country is ours, bought with blood. This trip was not just a museum visit; it was a journey of self-discovery. We often read history in books, but when we actually touch its traces, we feel its depth.
