Hello, dear community. I hope you are doing great. On this occasion, I want to talk about the productivity system that I currently use, which is inspired by the concepts of David Allen (Author of **Getting Things Done**) and Tiago Forte (Author of **Building a Second Brain**). In my case, I get straight to the point and treat my most important relationships and businesses as areas. This way, in my preferred note taking App, I have a category dedicated to my wife, another to my daughter, and so on. Of course, my business also has its own category, as does Steemit. On the left you can see my active areas and on the right, the subcategories for each of them.} I also use a general **inbox** in which I temporarily place any ideas or information that come my way. This is then reviewed and relocated to the appropriate category. Another thing I use is an **archive**. There I put the areas to which I have stopped dedicating time to. You can review it whenever you want in case you desire to resume your efforts in an area that is there or to see the things you dedicated yourself to. # What's inside an Area? ### It is important that all areas are organized in the same way. That's why I put the same subcategories in each of them. For each area you should declare your **callings**. What is the mission you are called to carry out in that business? It can be teaching, informing, entertaining, edifying... Whatever it is, it should be there. It is also important to have a **calendar** for our activities. I agree with David Allen in that this should be sacred territory, meaning that the activity we put into it have to be fulfilled no matter what. Well, we can put them directly from our mind, but also from the **list of pending activities**. Here we put all the things we have to do in the short, medium and long term. The activities will be waiting here, until you put them on the calendar for execution. Next, we have the **reference material**. Here we put our notes, thoughts, practical resources, etc. Everything that helps us access information of interest. With it I don't worry about ideas slipping away or forgetting important commitments. I can visualize my callings and focus on working on them. En mi caso, voy directo al grano y trato a mis relaciones más importantes y negocios como áreas. De esta manera, en mi App de notas de preferencia, tengo una categoría dedicada a mi esposa, otra a mi hija y así. Por supuesto, mi negocio también tiene su propia categoría, así como la tiene Steemit. A la izquierda pueden ver mis áreas activas y a la derecha, las subcategorías para cada una de ellas.} También uso una **bandeja de entrada** general en la que coloco temporalmente toda idea o información que venga hacia mí. Esto luego se revisa y se reubica en la categoría apropiada. Otra cosa que uso es el **archivo**. Allí coloco las áreas a las que he dejado de dedicarle tiempo. Siempre que quieran pueden revisarlo por si quieren reanudar sus esfuerzos en un área que esté allí o para ver las cosas a las que se dedicaron. # ¿Qué hay dentro de un Área? ### Es importante que todas las áreas estén organizadas de la misma manera. Por eso yo coloco subcategorías iguales en todas. Para cada área tienes que declarar tus **llamados**. ¿Cuál es la misión que debes cumplir en ese negocio? Puede ser enseñar, informar, entretener, edificar… Sea lo que sea, hay que colocarlo. También es importante tener un **calendario** para nuestras actividades. Concuerdo con David Allen en que este debe ser territorio sagrado, lo que quiere decir que la actividad que pongamos en él debemos cumplirlas sí o sí. Pues podemos ponerlas directamente de nuestra mente, pero también de la **lista de actividades pendientes**. Aquí colocamos todas las cosas que tenemos que hacer a corto, mediano y largo plazo. Las actividades estarán esperando aquí, hasta que las pongas en el calendario para su ejecución. Seguidamente, tenemos el **material de referencia**. Aquí colocamos nuestros apuntes, pensamientos, recursos prácticos, etc. Todo lo que nos sirva para acceder a información de interés. Con él no me preocupo de que se me escapen las ideas, ni de olvidar compromisos importantes. Puedo visualizar mis llamados y enfocarme en trabajar en ellos. Muchos seguramente no lo necesitarán, pero para mí que se me hace difícil retener información y que me la paso soñando, esto es oro puro. Espero les haya gustado y será hasta el próximo.
