## Visit to My Friend’s Little Garden After Sunday Service

I had a wonderful Sunday because it was quite different from the usual ones. I had the privilege of visiting my friend’s garden which I thought it was little then my entire day turned out to be refreshing and inspiring. My day stated with attending church service, which was one of the most uplifting experiences I’ve had in a while, beginning from the melodious rendition by the choir to the powerful sermon delivered by my minister, everything felt so deeply and inspired. The topic of the sermon, was “The Importance of Being a Spiritual Vessel,” as our theme for this year implies "Vessel of Honor". However, this reminded me of the need to live an righteous life thereby allowing God to use me as a channel to bless others. At the end of the service, my heart was full of gratitude and joy.

It's the season of corn and pear in my place 😄 so, for the love of corn after church service, I accompanied my friend to her garden to harvest corn and we were both eager to see how well the crops had grown. To my greatest surprise, what I had always imagined to be a small garden turned out to so impressively large.

Ha!! I was really wow.. with the beauty of the arrangement and the vibrant green of the leaves made the garden look like a little piece of paradise. I admired how skillfully she planted each crop in neat beds, making the entire garden not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.

I also enlightened her of the nutritional value in dark green leafy vegetables, especially since she uses natural manure in growing them and not the usual synthetic chemicals many farmers used. We spoke about the health benefits of vegetables like bitter leaf, waterleaf, cucumber, garden egg and pumpkin leaf. All these groups of Vegetables are very essential in vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Apparently incorporating all these into daily meals can help improve digestion, boost immunity, and prevent malnutrition and decrease the risk of Cardiovascular disease. Sharing this knowledge with her made my visit even more meaningful.

I left the garden feeling refreshed and grateful for such a fulfilling experience.
