## INTRODUCTION

Greetings everyone, it's another week of creativity.I am @destinedhanik. I am here to participate in this contest by @ahsansharif and I'll be drawing a banana plant, I'll also be talking about it and I hope you will learn something from it.

## MY STEPS IN ACHIEVING A BANANA PLANT

**First step:** I drew the grass growing at the base of the banana tree. The banana leaves are unlike other leaves, they are long and curvy to some extent. **Third step:** I drew the other banana leaves. In a banana tree, the leaves might be up to five or more.

## BENEFITS OF THE BANANA TREE

A banana plant is a plant that produces a banana fruit which is an essential fruit eaten and which gives benefits to the body. The leaves is unlike leaves of other plants as it is large and fleshy. **Banana leaves:** The banana leaves is used for various things like wrapping of foods, for steaming or grilling of food, the large leaves can also be used as umbrellas or to shade the sun from one's eyes, etc. **Banana peels:** After eating banana, the peels can be used as manure to the soil when it decays. It can serve as feed to animals. **Banana fruits:** Banana provides the body with vitamin B6. It also contains potassium and magnesium. • Banana is good for the heart. • It improves one digestive health. • Bananas help in weight control. • It helps ones cholesterol • Eating Bananas can improve one's mood. Bananas can be eaten in different ways and with different things. The unripe one can be grated and cooked and eaten as a meal. The ripe one can be eaten raw, it can be combined with different things to eat example banana abd groundnut as snacks, banana and soaked garri, banana and rice, etc. Ripe bananas can also be made into smoothie to drink.
