As a result, many common people were martyred by the Pakistan Army before the war started, which is also mentioned in Bangabandhu's historic 7th March speech. But by the middle of March in Rangpur city, on the contrary, the Pakistani forces were being harassed by the brave youth of Rangpur. Even a young man named Shahed Ali. This completely unexpected attack turned into a pitched battle when the Pakistani army broke through the first part of the cantonment.
