Albinism is an hereditary condition which is caused by the absence of genes which gives the skin, eyes and hair colour. Therefore people who are suffering from this condition are also suffering from the absence of a gene called melanin in the skin. Melanin are responsible for the skin colour, hair colour and eye colour. This condition present itself during child birth. Normally, children born with albinisims or people who are affected with this inherited disorder have parents who are either carries of the genes or both parents have ALBINISIM. Most individuals with this condition have parent who are carriers of Albinism Gene and doesn't show any symptoms of Albinism. In our society, there are various individuals who suffered from this condition and are also subjected to segregation. Scientifically, there are no cure for albinisim. Individuals who suffers from this condition are always advise to limit their activities under the sun. This is really harmful to their skin as their skin quickly absorbs ultraviolet Ray's from the sun which can result to cancer oftje skin and loss of vision for people suffering with Albinism.

**TYPES OF ALBINISM** **OCULOCUTANEOUS ALBINISM(OCA1)**:

This involves the complete absence of melanin in the skin, eye and hair. This is caused by genetic mutation.

**OCULOCUTANEOUS ALBINISM(OCA2):**

In this condition the are little presence of melanin, due to this the skin, eye and hair don't have a thich colour.

**OCULOCUTANEOUS ALBINISM(OCA3):**

This type of ALBINISIM affect individuals with black skin. Individual with OCA3 usually have reddish-broen skin, reddish hair and hazel eyes.

**OCULAR ALBINISM:**

Individuals with condition is obtain Albinism as a result of gene mutation on the X chromosome. This types of albinisim doesn't affect the hair or skin, it affect only the iris and retina.

**CONCLUSION**

Albinisim is a common genetic condition which can affect any individual during birth. This is caused when parents of an individual posses the gene or have Albinism. The segregation of individuals with Albinisim in our society is really bad and should be stopped. This individuals are complete humans which just lack the present of melanin in their skin pigment.
