Recuerdo que a partir de los 8 años me sentí atraída por la cocina, gracias a debíamos ayudar a mi mamá con los quehaceres del hogar y siempre se me hizo más conveniente preparar laa comidas, pero después de la adolescencia mi gusto se convirtió en disgusto y ya no soportaba cuando era mi turno de cocinar. De hecho hasta preparaba recetas de mala gana, llegando al punto de que olvidé cosas que de niña se me daban muy bien.

Después de la universidad me mudé de estado y viví con mi hermana en residencias de señoritas, y la verdad teníamos un menú muy limitado porque me creí que no sabía cocinar. Creo que fué la época más larga de desvinculación culinaria hasta ahora. Resulta que por arte de magia se desbloqueó nuevamente este gusto en mi, y ahora trato de cocinar cosas ricas y variadas lo más posible. Así que aquí les comparto un almuerzo más 😋

I remember that from the age of 8 I felt attracted to the kitchen, thanks to the fact that we had to help my mother with the housework and it was always more convenient for me to prepare meals, but after adolescence my liking became a dislike and I couldn't stand it anymore when it was my turn to cook. In fact, I even prepared recipes reluctantly, reaching the point where I forgot things that I was very good at as a child.

After college I moved out of state and lived with my sister in dorms, and we really had a very limited menu because I thought I didn't know how to cook. I think it was the longest period of culinary disengagement so far. It turns out that this taste was magically unlocked in me again, and now I try to cook rich and varied things as much as possible. So here I share one more lunch 😋

En cuanto al desayuno, me encanta preparar avena y combinarla con alguna fruta, es más, si pudiera prepararla todos los días sería genial, pero es algo costosa 😅 Pero en mi país el desayuno tradicional es la arepa, harina de maíz amasada con agua y se puede rellenar con cualquier proteína de nuestra preferencia.

As for breakfast, I love to prepare oatmeal and combine it with some fruit, what's more, if I could prepare it every day it would be great, but it's a bit expensive 😅 But in my country the traditional breakfast is arepa, cornmeal kneaded with water and It can be filled with any protein of our choice.

En el almuerzo es la arroz es algo que me gusta cocinar, porque es fácil de combinar y más saludable que el espaguetti por eso durante la semana es lo que más se repite. Es muy difícil cocinar algo diferente todos los días, primero por el costo de algunos alimentos y segundo porque no sé muchas recetas, pero créanme que lo intento.

At lunch, rice is something I like to cook, because it is easy to combine and healthier than spaghetti, so during the week it is what is repeated the most. It is very difficult to cook something different every day, first because of the cost of some foods and second because I don't know many recipes, but believe me I try.

En la merienda normalmente compramos helado o galletas, cosas que no son saludables en realidad, pero mi esposo y yo estamos tratando de mejorar eso, así que aprendimos a preparar un ponqué de banana y es lo que hemos estamos comiendo en las tardes.

At snack we usually buy ice cream or cookies, things that are not really healthy, but my husband and I are trying to improve that, so we learned how to prepare a banana cake and it is what we are eating in the afternoons.

En el caso de la cena somos muy inestables, incluso a veces ni siquiera comemos, sino que nos vamos a dormir directamente. Estoy implementando comprar tortillas integrales, para comer algo liguero y mejorar nuestra rutina de alimentación.

In the case of dinner we are very unstable, even sometimes we don't even eat, but we go to sleep directly. I am implementing buying whole-grain tortillas, to eat something light and improve our eating routine.
