My name is **Zaid** and I'm back with another daily diary. I'm in the midst of my paper and have been because of it. Today marked the day as the 9th of October, Saturday. My 1st mids are starting this Monday, so this day was like the silence before a thunderstorm for me. My aunt had twins, one boy, and a girl, and they are so cute. So, I kept saying to my family to visit them on weekends for 3 weeks. They finally decided and chose the only weekend in which I had to prepare for the mids lol. The fact that I want to meet them was so extreme that I agreed to do a visit. We decided to crash at Nani ghar early in the morning like 7 30 - 8 am but almost everyone except Nani are sleeping at that time. They are all late-wakers like me lol. So, we changed the plan and shifted the time to 11 am. I woke up at about 8 30 am, I actually woke up early today because I had to complete all the assignments that are due on Sunday night, and then have to study for the actual exam. After freshening up, without having breakfast, we booked careem and took off. I told him to stop the car for 2 minutes so that I can buy one of the famous karachites breakfast of weekends, any guesses what that might be? Leave it, It was "halwa poori". Careem driver first argued that I can't stop, but the urge of having this breakfast was so much that I interrupted him to a point that he has to stop lol. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUnFEWRzC5qo2ej3R56uJ3k2C86RzbR5XYnzT9FQpHFVf/Steem%20Pakistan%20Divider%202.png Since this was a surprise visit, I just kept knocking on the door and wasn't answering when asked "who's there?", It's so annoying when someone does that but I always do that whenever I make a surprise visit. My Nani came outside with full rage but then she saw us and with that, all of her anger went away. We ate halwa poori together, I also brought my laptop to complete the assignments. Right after finishing breakfast, I directly started working.

After some time, the twins came, spent my time with them, it's so much fun, to be honest, to spend time with all my family members. I didn't get the chance tho, I mostly spent my time completing the assignments so that I can prepare for the mid-exams the next day. Nani made biryani, that spicy smell became a threat to me as I wasn't able to focus properly on study 😂. The amount of distraction I've been through in one day is just outnumbered. I woke up early today so by 8 pm, I was so exhausted doing the assignments and things that I gave up and went to sleep. I slept for 4 hours lol, woke up at 11 pm. I was informed that everyone is on the roof preparing for BBQ. I couldn't help myself to stop going and study lol. I spent some quality time with the family, after dinner, I came home. Only 2 questions were left, I had a choice to do it or play valorant.
