The first thing that came to your mind is — **I can't sing, oh. It's a no for me**. **Do you know this competition doesn't need singers? Do you know you can be trained to sing and stand a chance of winning the prize?** Don't worry about having the sweetest of voices because having a sweet voice isn't just what singing is about. Singing is one of the most carried-out activities. We sing songs or listen to songs sung by people, and it's fortunate to say many want such an opportunity but don't know how to start or who can guide them. It's July, and I decided to host a competition after deliberations and thoughtful planning on how this would be carried out. It's just an upgrade from our weekly singing contests to a large competition which would give room for **learning from vocal coaches virtually, working with them, learning new songs and expressing your emotions in song**. You don't need to have the sweetest voice to participate. There are a lot of things you'll achieve even though you're not eventually the winner. These vocal coaches will have to train us on how to improve our singing and the like. - The auditioning Stage is all about **singing any type of song you know. Record yourself doing so, and if you're anxious, submit your entry**. This is the first stage to know those who'll be part of it. Everyone would be accepted to the judges audition stage, where qualified singers would be given golden tickets, and a few would be disqualified. - The theatre week is when you'll be given songs to learn and sing in days without using the lyrics to sing. You'll also get paid with vocal coaches you choose for voice enhancements. Your vocal coach will take you up on a series of training through other social media platforms. - The live performances stage is a stage performance that is mostly accompanied by instrumentals. You'll have to sing with instrumental and also get involved in battles. There'll be some pairing up in this stage. ....... Group singing with any Steemian ....... Demonstrating extra talent ......A group of 4 will sing, and one would be eliminated. ........A group of 2 would battle, and one would be eliminated. ........ Use - Semi Finals is a team of 5 with 2 eliminations. - Grand Finale is a team of 3 with 2 eliminations and 1 overall winner. Stage 1 Commences today

| |- For stage one, you're required to make a video of you singing in any language. You'll introduce yourself first and then kickstart. You're to sing any of your best songs and submit your entry. You can use instruments like guitars but no audio instrumentals. When you're done, you write the following in your post. - Introduce yourself briefly and drop your social media handle. - Introduce the song you sang and tell us why you chose the song. - Why did you join this competition, and what's your view about it? - Share suggestions for improvement, if any, and ask any questions that bother you.
