Very true but I don't like your motive of Celebrating Christmas. It's just like someone asks you why are you going to school. You'll tell them because I'm a student and all students goes to school. Is that solid enough. You said you celebrate Christmas because you're a Christian. You traced the origin of Christmas in your post and you saw it has pagan roots. Have you researched if pagans were worshippers of God? Try reasoning, why didn't Jesus mother or his disciples or people in his time celebrate Christmas or his birth? There's more to this.
