Greetings my dear steamians. I believe we all are doing great. I've come again to participate in this week food challenge organised by @steemkidss. I bought the processed bitter leaf and went back home to prepare my soup. I placed the pot on the fire 🔥 and cooked for 10 minutes to remove any bitterness still remaining in it. I added salt, onion and seasoning cube in the dry fish. I placed the pot on the fire to cook. The water don't need to start boiling before adding the mixture to avoid lumps. The water boiled and I poured the boiled water in a bowl then started adding my garri till the garri covered the boiled water up. The Egusi can be cooked as one soup separately called Egusi soup. Likewise Ogbono called the Ogbono(draw soup) soup. The same applies to bitter leaf called the botter leaf soup. This soup and swallow dish is mostly eaten as dinner in most Nigerian homes, some prefare to eat it as a lunch while some still consume it as breakfast All pictures was taken with my Samsung galaxy A05.
