**INTRODUCTION**| |- Some people are in schools just to feel among, while some are actually there to gain knowledge, enlighten their thinking capabilities, study hard and prepare for a bright future. Here in Nigeria, we have people who are head bent in studying, always concerned about their academical pursuit, from first degree to masters from masters to their doctorate and then to their professional qualifications. South westerners and south easterners are the most people who always come up in high positions most especially, they chance for their spouses to acquire quality education for the betterment of their future. **STUDYING**| |- ![20240426_144713.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmRkDwpEcmBsUkEk8XQEUNQweTVBuhZoBL3ctb7FVnU6Mi/20240426_144713.jpg) To craft a very simple and understandable definition or explanation for studying, we will have to put it this way; studying simple means, the ability of an individual or a person to create or devote quality time in order to gain knowledge, most especially through books/reading. It is also know as creating absolute or quality concentration for the purpose of learning or gaining knowledge I can also say that, it is a situation or state in which some fixes his or her mind to help him or her have understanding of something. **STUDYING SKILLS**| |- **Understanding:** Understanding means gaining knowledge of something, or being certain about a particular fact, I would say there is always a relationship between the object and the knower, in the sense that, if an individual is not really sure about a certain topic, there is no way that individual will get to understand or know what the topic concerns and the areas of the topic. When an individual gets to understand a certain fact, he/she will be able to expatiate and talk about the fact with a bright and wide comprehension of the fact. **Decoding:** In a very way, decoding can be communicated as a very simple way of extracting meanings, relevance and related ideas from an information presented in a confusing and complicated way, while studying. To learn more about the digital network. 6. To find a lifetime opportunity 7. Studying develops and enhances self-confidence. 8. People who study are rated equal in all educational ramifications. 9. Studying exposes people to facts about the worlds, it triggers exposure. 10. Studying enhances our communication skills. 11. Studying brings exposure about certain culture, people’s behavior and way of life. 12. Studying comprehensively brings stability to an individual’s life. 13. Study helps us learn and know more about financial security. **CONCLUSION**| |- My urge to discover and enlighten us all on why people study push me to complete this article which have had in mind for some months now. Have seen people study in unusual locations and have discovered that they have a target to meet at that particular location. We have seen earlier, studying exposes us both positively and negatively in the world of today. There are certain restricted facts that have later been released for study purpose, which will not help in the development of todays world. As we study, lets seek for the positive impacts of studying.
