## Celebrating My Mom’s 60th Birthday

My mom’s 60th birthday was a very remarkable one, filled with joyous moments that brought my family and friends together to celebrate her life and achievements. This is an occasion that we took months in planning😂 before the date of the events, everything was put in place. On the D-Day early morning, preparations were in full swing to ensure that day was a memorable one for her. The decorators came quite early did decorate the house with beautifully ribbons with balloons and banners using her favorite colors of sea green and burnt orange, which set the mood for the grand event. She used her caterers because no one was ready for cooking stress, however she is a retired nurse and a full-time Caterer.

She is genius and a delicious chef👍. Different delicacies were being prepared, including my mom’s favorite dishes such as Afang soup with fu-fu, and chicken casserole, other meals prepared were jollof rice, fried chicken, fried fish, white soup, pepper soup, and various local and continental dishes. Hmm.... when dishing them inside the buffet, the aroma filled the air 🥰, creating an inviting atmosphere for the guests who would soon arrive.

Everyone was dressed in colorfully, with eager to celebrate my mom’s milestone. The highlight of the evening was the cutting of the beautiful birthday cake prepared by herself. A beautifully decorated six-floor masterpiece, representing 60th Birthday. As my mom made a wish and cut the cake, cheers, and applause echoed through the arena. Thereafter, we took numerous pictures, capturing the wonderful moments filled with laughter, joy, and warmth. In that same spirit 🤭 a toast was made by her best friend RTD. Nurse Olive, all the guests also raised their glasses for a heartfelt toast, showering my mom with praises and prayers for good health, happiness, and many more years of blessings.

We all danced, are, drank joyfully to the rhythm, sharing in the happiness of the occasion. Apparently, It was heartwarming to see my mom dancing, ehnnn.. With so much energy 🤣, proving that age is just a number. As the night came to an end, we gathered for a closing prayer and gifting her gifts and thanking God for the gift of life and the successful celebration. The lights were turned off, marking the end of a wonderful day. Mom was overwhelmed with so much love and gratitude, and we all felt incredibly happy to have been able to celebrate her 60th birthday, making it an exceptional and unforgettable one.
