But I believe there is more to a husband and wife sleeping in different rooms when they have a house together. Some couples require togetherness because it enhances the intimacy in our family relationship. Staying together can bring comfort, intimacy and joint sharing of feelings that helps strengthen the relationship. On the other hand, there are some people who require a small bit of personal space. Once married, it’s important to understand what each partner expects from the experience of living together. In my opinion, some things might be important for each partner, like needing personal time or space. So, if these sorts of things aren’t discussed clearly in advance, minor problems can become issues later on. The relationship grows strong when partners know each other’s habits, preferences, likes, and dislikes. The peace and openness I feel when we’re together is something I can’t find in other places. When my husband and I stay in the same room, i believe there’s a sense of affection and closeness in our relationship. This matters to me a lot, because the stronger the relationship the better it is. While we having some separate time, this might sometimes be nice. But for me being able to stay together gives me more joy. Of course, individual wants some personal space, that might be important too.
