People have different opinions about staying either together in the same room or separate rooms for couples, I personally have my own view and in this contest organized by @ruthjoe , I will be airing my own opinion.

### What Is Your View About Couples Choosing To Stay In Seperate Rooms Even Though They Stay In The Same House?

Personally, I won't really say they are wrong by doing so, people have what works for them so If staying apart under the same roof is what works for them, then they should go ahead and do it.

However, staying in seperate rooms as couples is a No for me because we were pronounced husband and wife in church, court and traditionally meaning we are one, so what's with the barricade we are creating inside our house? Aren't we supposed to share everything together? We have been spending all our lives sleeping differently while we weren't married, so why should we continue with such now that we are legally married? It doesn't add up in my own opinion.

For something as little as it seem, it could be metamorphose to something we wouldn't like in the long run, so Yes couples should be able to sit down before marriage (during their courtship) to really talk about how they want their union to be.

Couples should be able to come to an agreement after carefully analyzing the benefits and dangers of staying rooms apart under a single roof, and if they are okay with it, then they go ahead, if they aren't okay with it, then they should shun it.

Personally, I prefer as I couple, we should stay in the same room, this brings about mutual bonding other than stay rooms apart, certain issues needs to be discussed on a Pillow Talk and not over the house telephone.

Secondly, it proves we are one and can't be separated by anything, not even in the lump-sizeness of our wealth and house. This is where most couples fail. They think they are enjoying their privacy not knowing bit by bit, they are being separated by the little space they have created.

Also, the burden of choosing a room where intimacy should be done could be another pain on the neck as there will be random disagreement on where it should, these little parasites could eat up marriage to the level it could be irredeemable and to avert that, we must prevent it from the start.

In conclusion, we all have what works for us, my personal ideas and perspectives shouldn't be a yardstick to measure your own success in marriage, it's just what works for me, you can adopt what works for you and life keeps going.
