Hello there, fellow SteemFoods members as well as dear readers from Steemit and outside of it! For today's personal contribution on the SteemFoods community, I decided to write a bit about Quiche, a great, delicious, and beautiful traditional French dish/tart which I previously tried on multiple occasions before. [Quiche](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quiche) (or [quiche Lorraine](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quiche_Lorraine) as it is also known in English) is a traditional French tart which consists of savoury custard, egg, cheese, and can be filled with meat as well. Instead of pork, it can also be filled with seafood. In addition, it can also consist of vegetables. This traditional French dish originated in the region of Lorraine in the east of France but was little known outside this region until the mid 20th century. Subsequently, this tart became more and more popular worldwide. Quiche has various regional varieties depending on the ingredients used for its preparation. From my personal experience, I really enjoyed eating pre-made quiche while I was a student abroad. It was relatively cheap, easy to heat up, and enjoyable as well as fulfilling as a quick snack. Hence, I truly recommend it to those interested here.
