Steem-Agro is a well-thought-out and focus-oriented community that represents a hub of all agricultural events and activities on steemit. As of the time of this publication, the community of an 8-month age has a subscriber base of 153 members with active members of 75 active posters. Steem-Agro community was created on the 6th day of March 2024 with the first community introduction post published to kick-start full-scale activities. Right from this day until it onboarded its MODs, the affairs of the community were managed by the founder/Admin. Though the introduction post came at a later moment, however, it is best launched properly. This thought has been nurtured after a series of deliberations about how best to add this special content-themed agriculture to the ecosystem; however, I had to move on with this initiative. My good friend @ngoenyi was also significant in this path of thought. Below are some Steem-Agro main purposes: The community will be eagerly interested in ensuring that the needs of all agricultural participants are in check and well-catered at all times. Hence prioritizing this would be premiums for us. Unifying all agro-lovers in the community would be key for us as we ensure an increase in activity and traffic in the community at all times through diverse initiatives. There would be a combined effort to drive the Steem-agro community to the next level from all sides. He is one that we all know; @xkool24. However, other competent hands joined this community's administration both in the capacity of admin and mods. Given the community is an agro-base space, it is open for all kinds of agricultural publications so far they are not abusive, incisive, or come with other forms of infractions. The @hive-118902 has always remained the community's main and only curation account with delegations from members. The curation activity is solely handled by the admin or designated MOD to streamline abuse from multiple users. The community account has a total of 9,039.88 SP at the time of publishing this article. Publications in the community are placed on an unsentimental review with assurances that no one is abused or community SOPs infringed. However, some of the major policy-checking parameters done in the community include; - Verified Users - (To reduce account farming in the community) - Steem Exclusive - (this is to guarantee articles posted are first published in the community or Platform) - Plagiarism-Free - (This is always unethical and hence published articles are checked for plagiarism) - Abuses - (this is to ensure everyone coexists peacefully in the system without undue advantages. This limits the scope of expansion and how much it can advance due to this limitedness and uncertainty of support. The voting manna of the community despite its 100% isn't above $0.10. This makes the attraction to the community not viable enough to compete favorably with others. A possible and immediate solution may be from support via delegations to the community or daily support of a certain number of articles made daily in the community. As of today, we have one community contest and SEC contests that we are leveraging to keep the community in good shape. However, the third contest which is an individual contest on Agriculture & Arts would be launched later in the day. This act has over time built the subscriber and active bases of the community and as well as promoting the community in a good light given its focus on coordinating all these events.
