Today's start time was unusually early for me. At 5:00 AM, the alarm clock forcefully woke me up. I rubbed my eyes and stumbled out of bed to start my day. I started off by doing my regular housework, including a little laundry and tiding up my room. Even though it's always a bit of a rush, I find having a clean home in the early morning hours to be strangely gratifying. I departed for the farm following the chores. I quickly stopped at the neighbourhood market on the way there to get some some food for breakfast before I start my activity. Although it was arduous work in the blazing sun, the cadence of it had a hypnotic aspect. We recounted stories over dinner at a neighbourhood eatery while laughing so hard that our sides hurt. I'm appreciative for the company of excellent friends and the small pleasures of life. We then left the restaurant to our various ways after we were done and sorted every bill. I went home and took my bath, watched some television programs and slept for the day. Thank you for reading my diary.
