My mind flashed back to the [7-day journal]() I uploaded the night before. And I smiled. ‎ ‎Journaling is therapeutic. Each time we pen down our thoughts on our gratitude, fears or experiences, we leave behind baggages that have been weighing us down. ‎ ‎I felt so light, so healed and **so grateful for the act of journaling**. ‎ ‎

**Thursday, 24/04/2025**

‎I am grateful for art. It is the medium I use in expressing my thoughts, whether it's fear, gratitude or love. I admire the arts of speaking, writing and painting. ‎ ‎But today, I am most grateful for the art of drawing, painting and creating aesthetic designs. **Friday, 25/04/2025**

‎On this day, I had joined **The Conversation with Paul Udah**. The session had key speakers like Princess Onome, Mr. Etimbuk Inyang, Apostle Victor Anaele, Mr. Chidibere Ibe and others. Each of them spoke on their struggles and how they found their ikigai (reason for existence or purpose) along they way. My key takeaway was **the need to affect our environment positively after overcoming our challenges**. ‎I even got to learn about the book "Think and Grow Rich" by which I am currently reading. My words to any young person reading this is that you are not too young to grow. ‎ ‎On this day, I was grateful for mentors and the efforts they make in shaping great minds. ‎ ‎

**Saturday, 26/04/2025**

‎So, you know that time when you miss a deadline or target. It hurts your feeling then you find yourself saying, "I hate failing". ‎ ‎I had a similar experience on Saturday afternoon. However, after a deep reflection, I realised that no body should ever dread failing. In fact, it is best to see failure as a stepping stone to success. Each mistake helps us to learn and grow. From now on, I choose to be grateful for my mistakes and failings and see them as another opportunity to grow stronger and better. ‎ ‎

**Sunday, 27/04/2025**

‎The first day of the week is very symbolic. This is the moment members of my faith usually convene to worship and pray. I always enjoy joining the ecclesia because I get to see fellow teenagers and serve at the temple. Being able to do this fills me with so much happiness. ‎ ‎

Are you grateful for this wonderful dish prepared by the delicate hands of an Akwa Ibom man — your very own brother? YES...YES...YESSSSSS! ‎I enjoy my brother's cooking so much and every time he stops by the house, he ensures that he makes our mouths water and hunger for more delicious meals. My goodness! ‎ ‎

Growing up, I was exceedingly chubby. So chubby that my nannies had to run away. Stories say I enjoyed being carried and not everyone had the energy of carrying a child my size for over ten hours daily. Later, I got ill and lost a lot of weight. This made me sad, especially when the kids at school started talking about it in every joke. Someone even called my a Barbie doll and another mosquito legs. That got to me. So, I felt bad about my body. However, I gradually grew to love myself, particularly due to my parents and siblings encouraging words and support. They told me that the secret to beauty is confident. It doesn't matter whether you are chubby, thin, have a glowing skin or struggling with a heart challenge. What brings out your true beauty is your confidence. ‎ ‎Stay confident and grateful, friends. ‎
