Whilst I enjoyed the cave, I loved the surrounding area even more.

Lod Cave

The Lod Cave is quite an amazing natural feat, but it does seem to suffer from over tourism. You can get a guide, but it isn't really worth it (they'll just say that certain rocks resemble something). The cave is home to loads of swallows and bats, so be ready to see and smell their feces everywhere! 😄 To get from one part of the cave to another you go by bamboo raft and it very much gave me a Pirates of the Carribean vibe. That's always a good thing in my book! Most people only come here to visit the cave, but the surrounding area is amazing with beautiful nature and some small local villages. So if you end up here and have the time, I would highly recommend a hike around for a few hours! The last picture was the highest point we went to on our hike and as you can see, the view is breath taking (so was the climb up too though)! 😄
