My mother, who is 86, and my sister visited me this past week. It was of utmost importance to me that I spend as much time as possible with my mom, as I am not sure if I am ever going to see her again. It was precious and quite a picture to see her sitting next to me coloring in while I continued with my Steemit tasks. She must have asked me ten times, if not more, what I was doing. Each time I will read her a post of a Steemian, and then she is happy again. Later on, she called the posts stories. Just like a child she would ask me to read "only one more to her". For the next contest the minimum amount of words is 550 as week after week the contestants are improving their posts. 500 Words is a “walk in the park” for them. Steem For Ladies I am still very active in the Steem For Ladies community. Most of my work in the community was dedicated to;

Curation and verification of posts
Educating and monitoring the 4 moderators
Validating MOD verifications
Verifying new members
Booming posts and community voting
Taking care of notifications and comments
Writing of 2 community posts
Monitoring and running of community contests
Lending a helping hand to members of the community

The Steem For Ladies community is doing well and I am super proud of the team! Education I still spend a lot of my time educating my fellow Steemians. | |--| General: The support for my fellow Steemians continued. The main support outside the platform was via WhatsApp and Discord. No telephone calls. I’ve also followed up on numerous Steemians where advice was given. A helping hand was also given to some of the communities and Steemians who needed help with the launch of contests, etc. Africa: No further discussions took place. In the meantime, I have increased my support for Steemians from Africa, especially newcomers and those lacking support, and needed advice.
