You might wonder; what did they chase after? Which animal was it? Did they catch it? How did it go? Hunting I'd a type of sport which involves the chasing and capturing of animals for food or other purposes. According to [Oxford Learners Dictionary](https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/american_english/hunting), hunting is *"chasing and killing wild animals and birds as a sport or for food."* Many people hunt mostly for the purpose of killing and eating it. This is same thing that happened here. I came by some men who has been targeting a bush meat for some days now (According to the man who started the hunt). As the other men asked him what he was doing with a matchet in his hands, he replied that there is a big bush meat hiding in the shallow bush close by. As he went close, the big healthy rodent ran out and entered a thicker bush. The closer the matchet got to it, the bush meat ran out again escaping some stones and was hit by a stone. On the chase, the younger man fell down, my stones finished and it escaped the both of us and ran across the road to another bush. We continued the chase with matchet, sticks and finished stones. We tried holding it back from a bush thicker than the others. We thought it will be caught since it was no longer running fast as before because it has been hit. Then, suddenly, it passed through the gutter and got away. I later found out that I have gone very far away from the where I was going because of chasing after a bush meat that I could not wait till it's done 😂😂. I didn't want to tell anyone. My mind could not get over the bush meat. It was as big as a matured rabbit or even bigger and looked healthy. We had some injuries like scratches and I felt sorry for the man who cut his thumb and it was bleeding. I don't like seeing blood 🙈🥺.
