It's a wonderful privilege to be writing this piece of article. It's quite awesome to see rewards coming the ways of the users that have been doing great stuff on Steem and I will be nominating users/community for the three categories available; Best Author, Best Contributor to the Community, and Best Community. Let's get into it.

Best Author

Maybe I've not been able to explore the entire Steem communities to see the great stuff from different users but I have seen enough from highly committed users. I have a lot of people who deserve this award due to the consistency and quality of the article produced but I can only pick one, after several considerations, for this category, I am rooting for @sapwood. Let's see a few things to say about my nominee.

1. Quality of Article

The quality of articles produced by @sapwood is on another level, let me put it that way. I have seen him produce content in different communities and the quality is always worth one's read as every part of the article comes with proper analysis which facilitates the readers to have a smooth reading time, supported with high-quality graphics/tables/charts to enhance the understanding of what he has presented.

2. Commitment

I have read his articles in several communities as earlier stated and all are a revelation of commitment. Articles produced by him shows that many hours/days have been dedicated to producing something great and such commitment is what gave birth to wonderful content produced by this great Steem user and I must say, I've not seen that level of commitment to producing great articles by any other user on Steem.

With a few things said above, I have concluded to nominate @sapwood as the best author in that category.

Best Contributor to the Community

There is none I would root for in this category other than @focusnow, the founder of the @steemalive community and also a Country Representative from Nigeria. He's put great effort into building the community, giving numerous updates per day as regards the community development. He has consistently encouraged members of the community to stay active by organizing different contests and prizes are adequately sent out to the participants.

His efforts towards building the community cannot be overemphasized, he's been great. An example is his strategy drawn out to have state coordinators and team leaders across several states of residences of the members and this has aided the growth of the community and improved interpersonal relationships of Steemians off-chain.

In conclusion in this category, @focusnow has been a great contributor to the community who as well have adequately given back to the community through every chance he's got. I hereby nominate @focusnow for the best contributor to the community.

Best Community

For this category, I'm rooting for @steemalive. If you look at the cardinal of this community, it's all about recruitment, retention and reward, as such, the community have been involved in the recruitment of active members and as well reward them for their activeness. One of the strategies used by the community is the roadwalk where several teams troop out to recruit for Steem and it's been great so far.

The community @steemalive is committed to growth and that has helped it to stay at the top, for example, it has the highest number of followers on its curation trail, standing out amongst several other communities and this has enabled it to help its members by rewarding quality articles. There are several other achievements of this community, like producing all Country Representatives from this part of the world and they have produced other great users on Steem.

In conclusion on this category, @steemalive has been adequately working in line with its purpose and that has aided its growth, and the active members are rewarded for their time on Steem. I hereby nominate @steemalive for the best community.

Conclusion

I feel so great about Steemit awards 2021, I see this avenue as a point to reward great users that have contributed their parts into building Steem. In this article, I have nominated in all categories after several considerations of my knowledge about the nominees. I hope the best wins in all the categories.
