Mother Africa, Mother Africa, Mother Africa!!. Ohh, it's a shame!! it's quite disgusting!!!. What are my saying? hmmm, my people, Africa is our great continent that is well designed by Almighty God for our own betterment. But, instead of using our Godgiven wisdom wisely, some among us vowed to misuse theirs, which in turn yields room for predicaments against their families or even their descendants. As the only child, he's surrounded with properties and that led to great envy and jealousy on the side of his uncle. At the age of 17 years, war broke out here in Nigeria, his so-called uncle sold him to northern soldiers with the aim that he will die in warfront because, the uncle told them to place him in warfront. According to my late Dad, he was frying garri for the mother when soldiers suddenly surrounded him and captured him. But, reverse was the case!! My Dad is the social type who makes friends easily. Because of such quality of his, the soldiers became fond of him. So, they trained him as a soldier and upgraded him to a high position as a commander automatically. Though, he fought, but not as expected by his enemies. Then, at the end of the war, they told the mother that they saw his dead body filled with maggot all-over. So the mother cried, weep and morn his son. Just as it's the custom of our people here, the mother cried and observed all the mourning rites for the dead. But, his uncle though, claimed to be happy in disguise not knowing that my father is fully aware of his past evil plan because, his fellow soldiers revealed everything to him. My mother gave her. After few days, when she noticed that ours has finish, she turned back the garri. Mother set the garri aside, in the morning, mom found "snake back" inside it. So, we poured it away. Few days later, they came for 13 cups of garri and mother lend to them. Same way, they brought it back. Mom also kept it aside. The following morning, we saw "dried poultry excrement" inside. hmmm, we threw the garri away and surprisingly, even our local birds(fowl) avoided the garri. So, had it be we ate the garri, who knows what would be the outcome. Few weeks later, they collected another garri from us, but, when they returned it, my mum rejected the garri and told them that she just gave them the garri with all her heart. Unknowingly, they poisoned the fish before giving it to my mum. But their target was for my mum to cook with it that morning. But, As a wise woman, she cooked with the remainder of fish she remained the previous days. She kept the dried fish on fire as if it's not yet dried, not knowing that God want to reveal a mystery to her. Amazingly, the fish started vomiting out tomato paste. Hmmm, Dad ordered that we throw away the fish. Unfortunately, our giant dog then, ate the fish where we threw it and died there instantly. Hmmm. the story is long oo. But to shorten it, In the year 2006, he inflicted my Dad with 5 poisons same time and in the year 2008, Dad kicked the bucket. Before his death, the man walked about telling people that my Dad must die and he warned motorcycle riders not to carry my Dad to hospital else, he will kill them. Anyway, vengeance is mine says Jehovah. Chei, this my dad's so-called uncle is so wicked and today, I can say that he is reaping what he sow. But, I wish he will have a change of heart, and maybe, God will forgive him. As for me and my family, we have forgiven him knowing fully well that God is the best judge ever. So, his judgement is the best.
